All systems are go
A message to all local readers from Steve, our Diamond Jubilee supremo. Please pass this information on to all others who need to know.
"Just checked the forecast for tomorrow and it says dry to around 19:00. So it all systems go on Crown Road for our street party. Bunting is up on one side, the stage has arrived and the grass is short (not sure how it got like that!).
I will be on the Green from around 8:30, see all the helpers at the village hall at 10:00.
Fingers crossed, lets go for a final great event to cap the weekend.
See you all tomorrow."
