More on Old Buckenham Airshow

More attractions than just planes
The secret of this year's airshow was to make sure there were lots of other attractions to entertain the crowds. There were hundreds of classic cars, military displays, food outlets of all sorts and a fairground.
Maestro Matt (the airfield manager) found time to give an interview to the press, a youngster enjoyed his paddling, a Daimler car nestled with a brightly painted plane, a man with an ice cream examines a steam car and Old Buckenham School provides music while sheltered in the Blister Hangar.
All this and more was enjoyed by thousands of visitors and raised lots of money for charity.
