Why not use Old Buckenham Village Hall
Many people hire the village hall to run different classes, groups and events.
· Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Brownies and Explorer Scouts meet at the hall regularly.
· WI hold their monthly meeting and other events.
· Luncheon club use the hall every month.
· Old Buckenham Players meets every week and put three productions on a year from the hall.
· A number of people run their exercise classes in the hall including; Clubbercise, Yoga and Zumba.
· The Parish Council have their monthly meeting here.
· Other groups book it for such things as their AGM.
· Organisations book it to run course in e.g First Aid.
· Bookings from family, friends or like minded people wanting a space to get together e.g. wargaming, crafting, dancing or music classes/rehearsals.
· The hall is regularly booked for children’s parties, family celebrations and other events run by village groups.
From September there is availability in the main hall at the following times for regular bookings: Monday 11 -5, Tuesday 11-6, Wednesday 2 – 6.30 & 8 -10pm, Thursday 12 – 4, Friday 9- 6
The Memorial Hall, small carpeted hall, is generally available at these times:Monday 9 – 5 Tuesday 9- 7 and every other Tuesday from 7pm ,Wednesday 9 – 7, Thursday 9 – 7 Friday 9 – 10
It is still open to occasional bookings at other times too.If you are interested in taking on a slot, or know someone who is, just contact the bookings clerk to discuss further. Or if you want to look at the venue with a view to booking for private events.
