Fancy a gamble?
Most people have had a hard time growing their vegetables this year. Among the 34 classes for Vegetables and Fruit in the Produce Show on Saturday 11 September there are three fun classes where you might stand a chance of winning. They are longest runner bean, heaviest marrow or courgette and largest tomato. No idea on how long or heavy such things will be this year.
Worth risking your 20p on entering one of these classes?
