Just more than last year

Poppy collection
It was another successful village poppy collection, a gross total of £1102.52 was donated by the inhabitants of Old Buckenham.This was an improvement on last year by the princely sum of 27 pence.
This was a valiant collection by a dwindling number of collectors. The remaining collectors buckled round and every house was visited (if you were out at the time hopefully you donated at one of the static collection points at the village shop, the pubs, schools or at the airfield). Thank you all for your generosity and a huge “thank you” to all of the collectors, without whom this collection would not be possible.
