News on charity collection
The community of Old Buckenham and generous shoppers in local supermarkets raised an incredible £28,300 last year for St Martins. A team of loyal volunteers organised by longstanding co-ordinator Michael Bartlett from the village ran collections in supermarkets across Norfolk throughout the year. An event was held in the Church Rooms, Old Buckenham, on Saturday 26 March to thank the volunteers and update them about St Martins' work to help the homeless of Norfolk. The money raised will be used towards funding a new accommodation project which is set to open in Norwich later in the year.
