Old Buckenham on Saturday

All day activities
There will be lots going on locally on Saturday 7 July.
You can start off taking part in the litter pick around the Green. Meet outside the village shop at 10am.
Then between 12 noon and 3pm there is the Summer Fete at Chapel Green School. If you haven't been to see this wonderful new school in our village then this is your chance to go along, support their fund-raising and maybe go on a guided tour to see all the facilities.
If you need something different, New Buckenham are having their Village Show that starts at 2pm in their village hall. Go along and see their entries of flowers, vegetables, cooking and craft items - perhaps you'll get some ideas for our Produce Show on Sunday 9 September.
At 6pm it will be time to go along to the annual Evening Garden Party held at John and Barbara's house in Mill Lane. All proceedsto the 'Raise the Roof' fund. If you didn't get there during the Open Gardens weekend, now is your chance to seewhy  it was worth a two-page article in the EDP last week.
If you can get back to New Buckenham by 7.30pm, they are showing the film 'Finding your feet' with ice creams available during the interval.
Oh, now I hear there is a football match on somewhere that kicks of at 3pm. Going to be a busy day.
