One way to keep youngsters busy during the summer holidays
The Old Buckenham Open Produce and Handicraft Show will be held at the Village Hall, Old Buckenham on Sunday 12 September 2010
Open to the public from 2.30pm. Presentation of prizes at 4pm.

Here is the information on the classes especially for children:
52. A drawing entitled 'Playtime'
53. A painted pebble
54. A poem on 'Weather', 8 lines
55. One gingerbread man
56. One decorated clay flowerpot, about 10cm diameter
57. Monster made from fruit and/or vegetables
58. Miniature garden (in a seed tray)
59. Spacecraft made from Lego
60. Photograph 'A member of my family'
The relevant rules for children entering these classes in the show are:
1. A fee of 20p will be charged for each exhibit. Children's entries are free.
4. Exhibitors shall not enter more than one exhibit in each class.
6. Certificates and a trophy will be awarded for each section. A cup will be given to the overall winner. Adults’ and children's cups to be retained for 1 year. Prizes will be given to overall winners of each section in the children's classes with a ‘best in show’ award for the best children’s exhibit.
8. All exhibits should be brought to the Village Hall on the day of the show between 9.30am and 11am. Judging will begin at 11.15am.
9. All exhibits in the children's, handicraft and art sections must have been completed since the previous produce show.
11. The children's classes will be judged in three sections, ie 7 and under, 8 to 11, and 12 to 15 years.
12. The decisions of the judges will be final.
13. No exhibits should be removed before 4pm. Exhibits not for sale should be removed before 4.15pm, otherwise they will be auctioned.
Children (and their parents, friends, guardians, neighbours, etc) can, of course, enter the other 105 classes in the show.
