Producing stuff in Old Buckenham

Think about your entries
There is another big event in the village during September that needs lots of participation by Old Buckenham residents but does not involve cycling. It is the annual Produce and Handicraft Show. This is organised by the Old Buckenham Women’s Institute and takes place in the Village Hall on Sunday 13 September (the day after all the cycling activity).
Those putting in their exhibits need to have them there at the hall before 11am so that judging can begin. The hall opens again at 2.30pm so that you can come and see how well your exhibits have done. With all the keen activity at the allotments there may be some new entrants wanting to show off their skills.
Even if you have not managed to enter any flowers, fruit, vegetables, pot plants, eggs, art, cookery, preserves or photographs you can enjoy looking at all the entries and seeing who has done well.
Children’s entries are free and making them could be just the thing you need to keep the children occupied at the end of the summer holidays.

If you can’t find the schedule that was distributed with the July newsletter then you can ring Doris on 01953 861322 to get another one.
