Remembering the music of the seventies
Have you got your tickets yet to see the real Chicory Tip (not a tribute band of youngsters) at their concert in Old Buckenham Village Hall on Saturday 22 August? The performance will start at 8pm and tickets cost £8 each.
The band were 'Top of the Pops' with their song 'Son of my Father' which was the number one hit in the UK Singles chart for three weeks in February 1972.
If you do remember the song and would like to hear more about it then tune in to BBC Radio Norfolk on Wednesday 12 August when there will be an interview with one of the band's members. It will be part of what is normally the Stephen Bumfrey show which this week is being presented by Chrissie Jackson and the interview is expected to take place at about 2.30pm.
If you can't remember the song then that is even more reason to tune in and listen. Of course you can listen later via the BBC Radio Norfolk website, or i-player or even by recording it using Freeview on channel 719.
The concert here in Old Buckenham will be a great night out so get you tickets now. You can email boxofficeobvh@gmail.com or call 01953 860866.
