Colourful Old Buckenham allotments

Lots of plants now in flower
In October 2010 the Old Buckenham allotments had just been marked out on a newly ploughed field. Lots of effort has gone in to fight against the weeds and the local fauna. The site is rather colourful at the moment with flowering plants and vegetables enjoying some sunshine.
Potatoes, runner beans, yellow courgettes, pumpkins, artichokes, sunflowers and sweetcorn are all doing their bit to brighten up the place.

Perhaps we will see some of the ripened produce an the show benches when the village Produce and Handicraft Show takes place in the village hall on Sunday 13 September.
