News of Old Buckenham Players panto

Going to Neverland?

Old Buckenham Players are busy rehearsing their pantomime offering for 2016, 'Peter Pan' written by their very own Maris McCann.
Staying true to the much-loved story, a night of fun, music and lots of audience participation awaits as they go on a magical adventure with Peter, Wendy, the Lost Boys and the villainous Captain Hook and his band of somewhat, unorthodox pirates. Old Buckenham Players, who are now in their 38th year, will ensure that you enjoy classic slapstick scenes, one-liners and show-stopping musical numbers. Just sit back and enjoy the ride as you are transported to Neverland, the place where you never grow up - so there is no excuse for big kids not to enjoy themselves.
Performances are being held in Old Buckenham Village Hall and start at 7.30pm on Thursday 21, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 of January with the ever popular matinee performance on the Saturday starting at 2.30pm. There'll be a raffle and a very reasonably-priced bar serving a range of soft and alcoholic drinks.
Tickets are on sale now and cost £8 for adults and £4 for those under 16. They can be purchased by calling 01953 861336 or in person from Old Buckenham Village Stores or Nuts 'n' Bolts in Attleborough.
