Mardle away from Old Buckenham

Time for a Christmas lunch

The regulars who attend the Monday Mardle  throughout the year left their normal meeting place in the Church Rooms, Old Buckenham, and travelled to the Queen's Head in Heathersett. The mardlers had their annual Christmas lunch in December and a fine time was had by all. This was due to a kind donation of £100 and other monies that members had put away during their meetings in 2015. Thanks also to Enid Jolley who had done all the organising.

The Mardle meetings are held generally on a Monday twice a month throughout the year and will start again on Monday 4 January. If you want some more details about the meetings, that begin at 2.15pm, you can speak to Enid (860131) or Carol (861480). New members will be made most welcome and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, home-made scones and a selection of cakes.
