If you drive to the far end of Abbey Road now you can look over the hedge and see the new tower with the radome on top. The structure is now at its full height. We assume testing is going on at the moment and it will be helping improve our local weather forecasting in the future.

 

Going Green

The BBC has just started a new series of programmes on the countries National Parks. The first one last Saturday was about the commoners in the New Forest and the work they do in looking after the place and its ponies. When appropriate they can to opt to wear a simple green uniform. Now it seems that members of our own Green Working Party have been having similar ideas and been discussing some comfortable t-shirts that they can wear while doing their sessions on the Green. After looking through the range of Farrow and Ball colours, they had decided on Sap green as being the most appropriate but are now favouring the much brighter Buckenham green. Some senior members of the GWP will be working on the Green up until noon today so look out for them if you are out walking your dog (or just walking), have a word with them and help them choose the best green for use in this wonderful part of Norfolk.
