What the village benefactor looked like
There is a framed and apparently signed photograph of Robert Cocks taken in 1861 hanging in one of the Old Buckenham almshouses.
This image is a photo taken of the framed picture so lacks some detail but gives a good idea of what this prosperous music publisher looked like.
