Not to be missed
Katie-Anne Whiting is back at our Village Hall with her latest production called LoreFolk. It is a celebration of local folklore, with a difference. She interviewed lots of local people at Norwich Book fair last year, alongside Norwich Theatre and collected their stories verbatim. She will be retelling them exactly as they were said at the time, with inventive shadow play and an original score.
You've probably heard of Black Shuck, but who were the Hibbilybibs of Sheringham (she found out that Sheringham fisherman actually had their own language, somewhat of a backslang) and did Norfolk people ever actually have webbed toes?! ....a young lad gave her his take on the famous myth!
So come along on Friday 10 October and see and hear for yourself. It's 7pm for 7.30pm and for the usual £10 you are able to get tickets either through Ticketsource online or by contacting events.obvh@gmail.com or bookings.obvh@gmail.com.
