This morning most of the members of the new Community Speedwatch team had their official training at the Village Hall (their classroom) and then had some practical lessons beside the village Green.
The official equipment has been passed over to the members and they will now be organising some regular sessions at various sites around the village. It was obvious during training that the sight of some hi-viz jackets and a radar speed gun works wonders when it comes to slowing down the passing traffic.
